The impact of intervention on families with children suffering from hearing loss
The present paper builds on Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory. In the introduction, current literature is reviewed dealing with the influence of support on families with children suffering from hearing loss. The article discusses the resources families can use and how these resources can be used in family-focused counselling. The article more closely examines the effect of intervention on parent-child interactions and on the ability to cope with stress.
