The theory about 'sings', 'symbols', and 'concepts' is drawn on in this article; 'sing' and 'symbol' are defined here according to Mucha (2000) and the definition of 'concept' was adopted from Čechová (1996) and Materna (2000). The study reported on here employed Torreces' figural test of creative thinking (Jurčová 1984), which is designed for the assessment of imagination, creativity, and originality in visual arts. Subjects are asked to finish incomplete figural drawings.
