AB  - The topic of the paper is intergenerational relationships among elementary schools teachers. The first part of the text deals with the position of teachers in the late stage of their career at schools and selected trends in the European school system focused on their support and motivation. In the second part of the text we present results of a qualitative investigation examining the position of teachers in the late stage of their career and identification of risks in intergenerational relationships.
