AB The first part of the research focused on quality and delivery of education in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in basic schools was aimed at mapping the conditions of teaching. The investigation was carried out in the first half of 2010 at 16 basic schools in Liberec. This paper describes the tools, methodology and results of this investigation. The main source of information for comparing the obtained results is a thematic report of the Czech School Inspection 2009. The investigation established criteria for evaluating quality conditions. This term means hardware, software, staffing and time allocation of teaching ICT subjects. The investigation was carried out under the project SGS-FP-TUL 181/2010.
