The aim of the paper is to develop the contemporary methodological theory, especially the communication concept of literary education, and to point out that one of the important aspects of school literary communication are so called preconceptions, i. e. pupils' understanding of an artistic text. Based on the results of content analysis of subject didactic articles the relation of the subject didactics of literary education and psychological-didactic and constructivist theories is characterized. This is focused on pedagogical psychology, general didactics and other subject didactics.
