The first necessary stage by the preparation of the instrument for tacit knowledge measurement was to define typical behaviour of successful university students. 184 basic quotations about successful students' behaviour were defined. Respondents were asked to evaluate the statements according to their importance by the Q methodology usage. Answers were statistically evaluated and the result was a definition of 32 basic statements how successful students usually behave. Additionally, four potentially possible ways how to achieve success at a university were identified.
